The Dentist

Yesterday morning, bright and early, Cole went to visit the dentist for the first time.  Gasp! I know he is almost 5 but I kept putting it off because I just knew it was going to be an ordeal.  Of course, Cole proved me wrong and did GREAT!  He was nervous and told me he was scared but he was so brave the entire time!  I am so proud of him!  Dr. Roberts was awesome and his office is perfect for kids.  Cole watched Despicable Me while he had his teeth cleaned and x-rays taken.  He never even flinched!  Then he played the wii while we waited for the x-ray results and he received an A+.  NO CAVITIES! Yay!  He does have a cross-bite but we won't address it until he is 7 or 8 and hopefully it will correct itself before then.  I am so proud of our brave boy!

Don't let the sweet face below fool you.  While her big brother was on his best behavior she refused to put her shoes back on and threw herself to the ground in a full blown fit in the lobby because she couldn't have all the business cards and a pen.  Oh how their personalities are SO different!

This brought back memories of taking my son and daughter to the dentist for the first time. They still see the same pediatric dentist because he is so gentle, compassionate and funny. It makes going to the dentist easier.

Do not confirm your choice of implant surgeons on the basis of what you read online unless the information is from an authentic or official source. Advertisements and mass publicity can lead you towards trouble because implant surgery, if performed by someone who is not qualified for the job, can lead to a number of serious complications. Always take time out for some research before opting for a particular implant dentist. You must have the best dentist chandler in tow

Hello! Thank you for posting this information about pediatric dentist. You have such an very interesting and informative page. I am looking forward to visit your page again and for your other posts as well. Keep it up! I'm so glad to stop by your page and to have additional knowledge about pediatric dentist.
Based on what I have read in an article through web, pediatric entists promote the dental health of children as well as serve as educational resources for parents. It is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) that a dental visit should occur within six months after the presence of the first tooth or by a child’s first birthday. It is important to establish a Dental Home for a child. This is because early oral examination aids in the detection of the early stages of tooth decay. Early detection is essential to maintain oral health, modify aberrant habits, and treat as needed and as simply as possible. Additionally, parents are given a program of preventative home care (brushing/flossing/fluorides), a caries risk assessment, information on finger, thumb, and pacifier habits, advice on preventing injuries to the mouth and teeth of children, diet counseling, and information on growth and development.

Your child might be experiencing dental problems. Too much of candies, toffee and the reluctance of children in brushing and flossing their teeth might result in such problems. What if their oral health is compromised and they experience dental problems like plague, tartar, cavities, gingivitis and other mouth or gum infections. You should take your child to a Pediatric Dentist right away to get rid of their oral problems.

He is brave, indeed! He seemed so serious in having the dental checkup! Well, it’s great that he has no cavities. You must be a very attentive mom when it comes to their dental health. Well, keep it up, and do not miss any dental checkup to maintain their good oral health.
