So Long 20's...Hello 30's

Well ladies and gentlemen I turned 30 today...and I feel GREAT! I always hear people talk about how sad they are not to be in their 20's anymore and how old they feel now that they are 30. Sure, it was a little sad saying goodbye to a decade that so many wonderful things happened to me. Just take a look at this list:

Went to Texas TECH University
Made best friends for life in Lubbock
Was allowed to legally drink
Traveled to Europe
Went to Vegas for the first time with my best girlfriends
Graduated college
Got my first REAL job
Was in a total of 6 weddings
Met my future husband on a blind date
Fell madly in love
Got engaged
Planned a wedding
Went to New York for the first time
Was the Maid of Honor in my best friends wedding
Got married and fell even more in love
Had an amazing honeymoon in Jumby Bay Antigua
Bought a house
Bought our dog Finn
Got pregnant
Was the Matron of Honor in my sister's wedding
Gave birth to Cole Thompson Muir
Felt love I never knew existed
Traveled with RT to countless weddings for friends
I became an aunt for the first time
Celebrated 4 years of wedded bliss

Now, look at all the things I have to look forward to in my 30's:

Celebrating 5 years of wedded bliss
Having more babies
Having my heart double in size with love
Spending every day for the next 10 years married to my best friend
Having more nieces and nephews
Watching Cole grow into an amazing young man
Making new friends while keeping the old ones too
I will start taking better care of myself
Becoming a better mommy
Becoming a better wife
Watching Cole go to school from preschool all the way to 7th grade
Traveling more
Taking all of our kids to Disney World
Moving into a new house
and anything else God has in store for me!

With a list like that who could possibly be sad about being older. I am definitely not! I am so excited to see what this next decade will bring! I think my 30's are going to be awesome!
