Dancing Queen

Dance was a HUGE part of my life growing up.  I started dancing when I was a toddler and didn't stop until I graduated high school.  I loved every minute of it.  Tap was my favorite. Besides being fun I truly believe dance helps with confidence, imagination, work ethic, coordination, musicality and so much more!   So, it should come as no surprise that I have been waiting for the day Campbell would start dance!  I don't know if it is going to be her "thing", and that's ok, I just want her to try it.

She had a rough first class.  She was excited to put her leotard and tap shoes on and she was excited to carry her dance bag with her ballet shoes in it.  She happily followed the other girls into her classroom and happily stood in her assigned place.  But when the teacher asked her her name she lost it and never recovered.  The cried for the entire 45 minute class.  She just stood there while everyone else danced around her.  Bless her heart.
