Campbell: 12 Months

WOW!  You are such a big girl now!  It is so amazing to me how "grown up" you have become since officially becoming a one year old.  It is like you changed over night!

You have really started "playing" with your toys.  Not too long ago you would just kind of pick things up and throw them around.  Now you play with a purpose.  I love watching you!

You are pulling up and cruising on everything!  You walk while holding our hands and if you could just get your balance you would be set.  You are so close!

You are enjoying a new view in the car!  We put your big girl seat in the car and faced you forward just before your birthday.  You love the new view!

You say "mama", "dada", "bubba", "uh-oh" and "dye-dye" (bye-bye).  You talk all the time and really wish we could understand your babble.

 You are an excellent eater.  Here is a list of foods you eat:  turkey, chicken, ground taco meat, pasta, carrots, tomatoes, avocado, black olives, green beans, broccoli, mushrooms (raw and cooked), peas, chick peas, red beans, re-fried beans, black beans, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, cantaloupe, bananas, applesauce, any kind of bread, cheese, cookies, cake, sorbets and pretty much anything else we put in front of you.  You don't love fruit.  I am ok with that as long as you keep loving your veggies.  We are going to slowly introduce more dairy.

You are wearing size 24 month/2T shirts and 18-24 month pants and skirts.  You have a tiny foot!  You haven't graduated out of the crib shoe section so we are having a hard time finding shoes for you to learn to walk in.  You are finishing up your box of size 4 diapers before we move you up to a 5.

You only have 3 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 1 on the top.

We saw Dr. G this week and he said you look great!  You received an excellent report!  You were not a fan of your shots but you didn't carry on as long as you usually do.  Here are your stats:
Weight:  24 lbs. 9 oz.  (90-95%)
Height:  29.8 inches  (75-80%)
Head:  17.8 inches  (70-75%)

You like to swing on the swings at bubba's school while he plays with his friends after school.

You love jewelry, purses and shoes.

You can throw a good tantrum.  Thankfully they only last for a second.  We tell you "no ma'am" and then ignore you until you are finished.  Hopefully you will get these out of your system very soon.

You point at everything and love pictures, animals and babies.

You are such a sweet little lady and we could not love you more!
