What a PERFECT day to watch the Rangers play their last regular season game before they start the playoffs! My dad was gracious enough to give us the tickets and we could not wait to take Cole to his second major league game. He LOVES watching the Rangers play on TV and always gets his bat and ball out to play along with them so we knew he would have a blast! He was a little confused as to what exactly we were going to do because on the way there he kept telling us that he was going to "run fast, slide, get dirty and clean me off" at the game and then when we got to our seats he told me he "needed his bat". Poor little guy. I just knew he was going to be persistent about getting on the field but besides one potty break and a trip to the gift shop, the boy did not move for 8 1/2 innings. He was in awe and I was in awe watching him. He soaked it all in and loved every minute of it!
We took our friend, Jeff, with us. Cole has so much fun hanging with the boys and drinking my diet coke!
This Nun has been attending Rangers games since the Rangers came to Arlington in the 70's. She is pretty famous at the Ballpark and fans frequently ask to have their pictures made with her. She has been playing the drum for a few years now and yes, those ARE headphones in her ears. She listens to the game on the radio while she watches it live. How cute is she?!?!
My dad's seat are amazing. We have been sitting in the same seats for over 25 years!
LOVE this picture!
{and yes, Cole is holding the new bat he got in the gift shop..little toot}
I am so glad we had the opportunity to go to the game on such a perfect day! Hopefully the Rangers will make it well into the playoffs! We would love that!
Thank you dad! We really appreciate it!
