School's Out for Summer

Thursday was Cole's last day of school.  We are both sad about it.  He LOVED school!  He loved his friends, teachers and the playground.  He is going to miss it so much over the summer.  The moms in his class have decided to do a playgroup this summer so he will still get to see his buddies every couple of weeks!  Yay!

His teachers had such fun things planned for the last week of school.  On Tuesday he had splash day!  He loved being outside for most of the day!  Then on Thursday they did projects and then had a carnival!  His teacher set up all the games they they won candy and balloons!  Cole loved every second of it!

Here he is on the last day of school.  So big and so grown up!
And here is a little flashback.  This was Cole on the first day of school in September 2011.  I LOVE the beginning and end of the school year comparisons.
On the first day and last day of school I have surprised Cole with a little sussie and he loves it!  The little book with his name on it is from his teachers.  They gave each student a little "yearbook" with pictures of the class throughout the year.  How sweet is that?!?!  They also gave each kid a hula hoop!  Mrs. Peggi and Mrs. Cheryl really were amazing teachers!

I even received a gift for the last day of school!  This sweet hand print and poem that I will cherish forever!
And here is Cole enjoying his cookie cake!  Heaven!

I am going to have to get creative this summer to keep him busy and entertained!  Wish me luck!
