Preschool Update

Cole is having such a great time at preschool so far! The drop-offs have already become easier and he is always excited to tell us about what he did at school and to show us his project of the day when we get home.

We always make the long walk from the parking lot to his classroom hand-in-hand. It is definitely my favorite part of the day.

They sing the "Good Morning" song to get them going and during circle time and they recite the alphabet and count to 10 before they begin the days lessons. What a fun way to start the day!

Here is an overview of what they learned in September:
Theme: God Made Everything
Color: Blue
Shape: Circle
Letters: A-G
Numbers: 1-5

And this month they will concentrate on this:
Theme: Jesus Had Friends
Color: Red
Shape: Square
Letters: H-O
Numbers: 6-10

I also love that Cole comes home with a daily report card that lets me know how his day went. The common themes to his report cards so far are that he is happy and curious, he usually naps and eats well and he LOVES the big playground! None of those are shocking to me especially that he loves the playground.

We are so happy that he is doing so well and learning so much!
