Cole's First Birthday Party

For Cole's first birthday party I did a "Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar" theme because it has been his favorite book from day one and I think I pulled it off. RT and I had so much fun and even though I think Cole was a little overwhelmed at times, and couldn't figure out why everyone was staring at him throughout the party, I think he had a great time too. He definitely received some pretty amazing gifts that he has been playing with all week! I still can't believe I already have a one year old. He is changing and growing way too fast for me. So here are way too many pictures from the party and of my little man! Enjoy!

This is the precious invitation I mailed out that Cole's uncle Jon designed. He also designed the goody bag tags and the thank you notes.

I used the cookie jar book as a guest book so everyone was able to leave a little note for Cole for him to read when he gets older.

I decorated with cookie jars and pictures I had taken of Cole for his invitations, goody bags and thank you notes.

I gave away little bags of mini Oreos and mini chocolate chip cookies with a tag that read, "Thank you for coming to my 1st birthday party." "Please enjoy the cookies I stole from the cookie jar." {I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with that wording}

Cole's cake turned out so cute! They put all the animals that are accused of stealing the cookies from the book around the bottom edge and then the top is the cookie jar from the book.

RT and I gave Cole this motorized 4-wheeler. He has already figured out how to push the button to make it go. He loves it!

My mom surprised me with this precious yard sign. She ordered it and had it delivered the morning of the party. Isn't is so cute!
